Who processes your data

The controller of your personal data is Quarads s. r. o., IČO 53 047 486, registered office at Mierová 379/50, 821 05 Bratislava — mestská časť Ružinov, Slovak Republic. The company is entered in the Commercial Register of the Bratislava III City Court, section Sro, insert no. 144526/B. Referred to below as “we” or “the controller”. We are a Slovak entity and operate under Slovak and European law.

What data we collect

Data from the housing request form

If you send a request through the form on the housing search page, we receive the information you enter yourself:

• type of request (rent, purchase or sale) and type of property;
• city, budget and preferred timing;
• number of occupants and whether you have pets;
• name, phone number and e-mail address;
• preferred method and language of contact;
• the text of your message, if you write one;
• confirmation of your consent to data processing.

Only your name, phone number and e-mail address are mandatory — without them we cannot reply to you. All other fields are optional. Please do not include information about your health, religion, political views or other special categories of data in the free-text field: it is not needed for a housing search.

Data from the contact form

When you contact us through the contact form, we receive the contact details you provide and the text of your message.

Technical data

When you visit the site, your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you opened and the time of your visit are processed automatically. This data is processed in aggregated form and is used to operate and secure the site.

Why we process data and on what legal basis

You can withdraw your consent at any time — this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing. Only those service providers without which the site could not operate have access to the data:

• WebSupport, s.r.o. — the company that hosts the site;
• Google — the e-mail service through which we receive messages from the forms, as well as Google Tag Manager, Google AdSense, reCAPTCHA and Google Fonts;
• the quick-contact buttons on the site lead to external messengers. If you use them, the conversation takes place in that service and is governed by its own data processing rules.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases the transfer takes place on the basis of the mechanisms provided for by European data protection law.

Data may be disclosed to public authorities where the law requires it.

How long we keep data

• Property requests — 24 months from the last contact with you, after which they are deleted.
• Messages sent through the contact form — 12 months from the date of the message.
• Data needed to meet legal obligations — for the period laid down by law.

Cookies and advertising

The site uses cookies. Technically necessary cookies are required for the site to work. Analytics and advertising cookies are only set after you give consent, which you provide through the banner on your first visit and can change at any time.

The site carries Google AdSense advertising. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits. You can adjust personalised advertising in your Google ad settings.

The forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA to prevent automated submissions. Google’s privacy policy and terms of use apply to it.

Affiliate links

Some articles contain affiliate links. When you follow such a link, the affiliate network may set a cookie in order to record the referral. We do not receive your personal data from partners — only aggregated statistics on clicks and orders. Affiliate links do not affect the price you pay.

Your rights

In relation to your personal data you have the right to:

• access your data and find out what information we process;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• request erasure of your data;
• restrict processing;
• receive your data in a machine-readable format and transfer it to another controller;
• object to processing based on legitimate interest;
• withdraw consent you have given;
• lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR).

Security

The site runs over the secure HTTPS protocol. Access to messages from the forms is limited to a small number of people. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data, but please bear in mind that transmitting information over the internet can never be completely secure.

Children

The site is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child has sent us their data, let us know and we will delete it.

We may update this document. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page. We will publish any material changes on this page.
